AllTrue Summer 2021 Unboxing!

Hi! It’s been a while, I know.

We are almost at the end of summer 2021 and it’s been an eventful year. Every year, my parents and I take a big trip for the summer and this year over 4th of July weekend, we flew all the way from PA to Seattle. It was an amazing trip and I hope to share some of it with you one of these days after I sit down and actually go through over a thousand photos!

How about you? Did you take any big trips this year or experience something you’ve never done before? I would love to hear all about it – please share it in the comments!

🌻🌻🌻

For now, I wanted to share the unboxing of Alltrue’s first Summer box!

Alltrue (@alltrue) used to be called Causebox until they rebranded this year. The rebranding is completely positive and is centered around them being able to extend their mission (of building a better world) into some other initiatives beyond just their main subscription box. I’ve been a fan of Causebox since I first discovered them a few seasons ago. It started out as a quarterly subscription box including 6 items designed for use for the current season. They only partner with companies with a given “cause” which not only helps these (mostly) small businesses gain more exposure but also helps raise awareness to their causes. Every quarter, they also choose an artist to design the box art for the season!

It’s guilt-free shopping, really!

Without further ado, here’s a full unboxing of their first box since the rebrand:

DISCLAIMER: I got the Summer Welcome box so some of these items are actually not included in the actual Summer 2021 box. This is what happens when you order kind of late in the season. Although I do love this selection more than the original!
  1. Artisan Direct Milky Way Lantern – if you hang it up in the dark in the middle of the room and lit up a candle inside it (candle holder included), you can enjoy your own Van Gogh “Starry Night” moment
  2. Golden & Pine waffle dish towels with canvas holder – 100% cotton woven on traditional looms in India and super cute color palette! and the included canvas holder is a very nice touch.
  3. Small Hours traveling cutlery set – I’ve been debating getting one of these since the pandemic started when more and more restaurants only provided disposable utensils even when dining in. This stainless steel cutlery set is so cute and uniquely shaped it actually was the final push for me to get this season’s box! Small Hours is all about empowering individuals to pursue sustainability any hour of any day by changing small habits.
  4. Boon Supply travel weekender bag – huge bag perfect for the weekend or more, pretty sure I can fit at least a shelf of books in there. I’m thinking it’s perfect for a trip to the beach β›±πŸ©³πŸ©± as it seems to have a waterproof material and it can fit towels for the entire family. I love my reusable zip pouches (5-pc of varying sizes) from them that was included by Causebox in a previous season.
  5. Brand with a Heart OMG Leave-in conditioner blend – it smells amazing, let me tell you. Smells like coconut so there has to be some in the ingredients somewhere. One of the main ingredients though that takes the spotlight is the maqui berry which actually has 5x more antioxidants than the more known aΓ§aΓ berry. I’m sure my hair will love this stuff!
  6. Hanalei Company SPF-15 lip trio (Unscented, Tropical Citrus πŸ‹, Island Mint 🏝) because your lips can always use some sun protection and a little TLC.

BONUS ITEM: summer-themed postcard, featuring art by @jordanamylee

I didn’t talk much about each brand’s mission but I encourage you to read about them in the links I included. They are so much more than just the quality items they put out, each of them really do strive to make this world a better place.

Thanks so much for unboxing with me!

    1. Ohmygosh, even in NY huh? Yeah it is ridiculous and yes I have because whenever I order Panera for lunch in the office I have to eat it with a plastic fork πŸ™„
